Travis Perkins PLC20 February 2006 20 February 2006 Travis Perkins PLC Appointment of Non-Executive Director The Board of Travis Perkins plc is pleased to announce the appointment of AndrewSimon O.B.E as a non-executive director on 20th February 2006. Mr Simon, age60, holds an MBA from Wharton School of Finance and is currently non executiveDeputy Chairman of Dalkia PLC, a non-executive director of Associated BritishPorts Holdings PLC, Finning International Inc, and Brake Bros Ltd, and a memberof the supervisory board of SGL Carbon AG. Previously he was chairman and/orchief executive of Evode Group plc from 1980 to 1993 and was, but is no longer,a non-executive director of Ibstock PLC, Severn Trent Plc, Laporte Plc, PropertyInternet Plc and Hampsons Plc. Tim Stevenson, Chairman of Travis Perkins, commented: "We are very pleased to welcome Andrew Simon to our Board.
