APPOINTMENT OF PRESIDENT COBHAM DEFENCE ELECTRONIC SYSTEM DIVISION
Cobham plc ('Cobham') is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeremy Wensinger to the position of President, Cobham Defence Electronic Systems Division (CDES), reporting directly to Chief Operating Officer Andy Stevens, with effect from 15 September 2008. Jeremy has over 20 years Industry experience and until recently was Group President Government Communication Systems, Harris Corporation.
This appointment enables Dave Gaggin to move to his new role as Executive Vice President Technology and Business Development, as previously announced. With immediate effect Dave Gaggin's current organisation and staff will report to Jeremy. Additionally, and at the earliest practical opportunity, Jeremy will bring the existing CDES organisation together with the Antennas and SPARTA Strategic Business Units to create the Cobham Defence Systems Division with combined revenues of $1.4bn and more than 5,000 employees.
