While at FMC, he was responsible for driving newbusiness growth through acquisitions or licensing and secured exclusive accessto several platform technologies. He also spent several years working withBayer Australia, where he was a technical development officer and responsiblefor the marketing and distribution of proprietary agricultural chemicals. Watsonis an active member in industry associations, including the Licensing ExecutivesSociety, and holds 18 technology patents of his own.
