Vodafone Group Plc26 July 2006 26 July 2006 ANDREW DUNNETT APPOINTED AS DIRECTOR OF VODAFONE GROUP FOUNDATION Vodafone today announces the appointment of Andrew Dunnett as Director of theVodafone Group Foundation with effect from 1 September 2006. Andrew Dunnett is currently an adviser to the Sustainable Development unit atthe Department of Trade and Industry with specific responsibility for the CSRAcademy, the lead initiative of the DTI's CSR programme. Andrew brings fifteenyears experience in corporate responsibility, community investment and publicaffairs, including advising organisations such as BTEC, the BBC and theCommission for Racial Equality as a consultant. He also led a corporatecommunity investment project in the City of London whilst Director of the StEthelburga's Foundation. Lord Broers, Chairman of the Vodafone Group Foundation commented, "We aredelighted that Andrew is joining Vodafone as he brings with him valuableknowledge of social investment and experience across the corporate, statutoryand voluntary sectors. He has a track record in collaborative working and is theright person to lead the next stage of the Foundation's development."
