Application for Admission of Shares

ADVFN Plc ("ADVFN" or the "Company") has applied for the admission to trading on AIM of 20,709,800 new ordinary shares of 1p each in the capital of the Company. These new ordinary shares have been allotted to the shareholders of Equity Holdings Limited in satisfaction of the final element of the deferred consideration for the acquisition of Equity Holdings Limited, originally announced on 1 February 2006. This deferred payment is based on a turnover milestone being achieved for the year ended 30 June 2008. Admission of and dealings in these shares are expected to commence on 2 December 2008.
Following the issue of these shares, the Company will have 613,902,235 ordinary shares of 1p each in issue, each carrying one voting right.
