Application for admission of 39,742,179 new ordinary shares

In connection with the acquisition of SGR announced by the Company on 27 January 2010, application has been made to the UKLA for 39,742,179 new ordinary shares (the "Consideration Shares") to be admitted to the Official List and to the London Stock Exchange for admission to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities. It is expected that admission of the Consideration Shares will become effective today and that dealings in the Consideration Shares will commence at 8.00 a.m. today. The Consideration Shares, when issued and fully paid, rank equally in all respects with the existing ordinary shares in the Company, including the right to receive all dividends or other distributions made, paid or declared hereafter.
