SKY ANNOUNCES ANNUAL UPDATE TO BASE PROSPECTUS

British Sky Broadcasting Group plc announced today that an updated base prospectus (the "Base Prospectus") relating to its £2,500,000,000 Global Medium Term Note Programme has been approved by the UK Listing Authority (the "UKLA") and will shortly be available for viewing on the website of the National Storage Mechanism operated by the UKLA.
