Annual Report and Notice of Annual General Meeting
Petra Diamonds, the international diamond mining group, announces that its Annual Report and Accounts for the financial year ended 30 June 2008 ("Annual Report") has been posted to shareholders. The Annual Report is available to view on the Company's website: www.petradiamonds.com.
The Annual General Meeting of the Company will be held at the offices of Memery Crystal LLP at 44 Southampton Buildings, London, WC2A 1AP at 10:00am on Friday 19 December 2008.

About Petra Diamonds
Petra Diamonds is a rapidly growing diamond mining group, focused on the African continent. Petra Diamonds will only commit to working in countries which are members of the Kimberley Process and shareholders can remain assured that the Company's diamonds will only ever be 100% conflict free. Petra Diamonds is listed in London under the share code PDL and is AIM's largest diamond group by market capitalisation.
