Publication of 2019 Annual Report and Accounts

and Notice of 2020 Annual General Meeting 

Dignity plc (the "Company") will today post both its 2019 Annual Report and Accounts and Notice of the 2020 Annual General Meeting to those shareholders who have requested a hard copy.

Copies of both documents are available direct from the Company or may be viewed on the Company's website at www.dignityfunerals.co.uk/corporate

In compliance with LR 9.6.1, the Company has submitted to the Financial Conduct Authority each of the following documents:

· 2019 Annual Report and Accounts

· 2020 AGM Notice

These documents will shortly be available for inspection via the National Storage Mechanism at www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/NSM

Dignity will hold its AGM on Thursday, 11 June 2020. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and HM Government's 'Stay at Home' measures on limiting group gatherings to no more than two people, shareholders are not allowed to attend the meeting in person but are encouraged to submit their votes by proxy. Further details can be found in the 2020 AGM Notice.

The Q&A which would have taken place at the 2020 AGM will be held as a separate event by conference call at 10.00 a.m. GMT on Tuesday, 23 June 2020. All shareholders are welcome to take part. Details on how to access the conference call are set out in note 22 on page 12 of the 2020 AGM Notice.
