Abbey Plc ("Abbey" or "the Company") advises that its 2014 Annual Report and Accounts are available at the following website www.abbeyplc.com.

Abbey also advises that Mr. Roger Humber, a non-executive director who has served on the Board of Abbey since 1999, has indicated that he will retire from the Board with effect from the date of the Annual General Meeting and will not be available for re-election at the Annual General Meeting.

The Annual General Meeting of the Company will be held in Dublin at 10.30 a.m. on 3 October, 2014.
