Annual Report and Accounts and Notice of AGM

The Company announces that its Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 29 December 2019 together with its Notice of Annual General Meeting ("AGM") have been posted to shareholders. Copies of these documents are also available for download from the Company's website at  http://www.citypubcompany.com.

The 2020 Annual General Meeting of the Company is to be held at Essel House, 2nd Floor, 29 Foley Street, London W1W 7TH on Monday 27 July 2020 at 12.00 p.m.

In light of social distancing measures as a response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the AGM will be run as a closed meeting with the minimum quorum of attendees facilitated by the Company. Physical attendance by other shareholders will not be permitted, however, shareholders are encouraged to vote on the AGM resolutions electronically or via proxy form by post. Shareholders will also have the opportunity to submit questions by emailing [email protected] before 12.00 p.m. on 23 July 2020, the answers to which will be posted on the Company's website as soon as practicable following the AGM.

Reopening Update

The Company is also pleased to announce that, following the Government announcement on 23 June setting out changes to the lockdown restrictions, it will reopen approximately 50% of its pubs on Saturday 4 July and then reopen the remaining pubs over the course of July and August.
