PUBLICATION OF ANNUAL REPORT AND ACCOUNTS 2009 AND NOTICE OF 2010 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC has today published the following documents on its website www.euromoneyplc.com:

The printed Annual Report and Accounts will be posted to those shareholders who have requested them on or around Friday December 18 2009, together with circular incorporating the Notice of Annual General Meeting and Form of Proxy. These documents and web default letter (for those shareholders opting for electronic communications) will be submitted to the UK Listing Authority. The documents will be shortly available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility, which is situated at: The Financial Services Authority, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London, E14 5HS.
As required by DTR 6.3.5 (1), we set out below the Directors' responsibilities statement and the Principal Risks and Uncertainties contained within the Annual Report as follows:
Responsibility statement
"We confirm that to the best of our knowledge:
the financial statements, prepared in accordance with the relevant financial reporting framework, give a true and fair view of the assets, liabilities, financial position and profit or loss of the company and the undertakings included in the consolidation taken as a whole; and
the management report, which is incorporated into the Directors' Report, includes a fair review of the development and performance of the business and the position of the company and the undertakings included in the consolidation taken as a whole, together with a description of the principal risks and uncertainties that they face."
Principal risks and uncertainties
The principal risks and uncertainties that affect the group are described in detail on pages 17 to 21 of the 2009 annual report. In summary, they include:
- Downturn in economy or market sector
- Major disease outbreak
- Liquidity risk
- Market price risk
- Interest rate risk
- Foreign currency risk
- Credit risk
- London, New York, Montreal or Hong Kong wide disaster
- Publishing legislation
- Circulation
- Acquisition and disposal risk
- Key staff leaving
- Reliance on key brands
- Conferences and events
- Tax, and
- Technological change and IT infrastructure
These are considered to be the most relevant risks and uncertainties at this time.
