The printed Annual Report and Accounts were posted to those shareholders who have requested them on or around Thursday December 17 2010, together with circular incorporating the Notice of Annual General Meeting and Form of Proxy. These documents and web default letter (for those shareholders opting for electronic communications) has been submitted to the UK Listing Authority. The documents will be shortly available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's National Storage Mechanism at www.Hemscott.com/nsm.do.
As required by DTR 6.3.5 (1), we set out below the Directors' responsibilities statement and the Principal Risks and Uncertainties contained within the Annual Report as follows:
Responsibility statement
"We confirm that to the best of our knowledge:
·; the financial statements, prepared in accordance with the relevant financial reporting framework, give a true and fair view of the assets, liabilities, financial position and profit or loss of the company and the undertakings included in the consolidation taken as a whole; and
·; the management report, which is incorporated into the Directors' Report, includes a fair review of the development and performance of the business and the position of the company and the undertakings included in the consolidation taken as a whole, together with a description of the principal risks and uncertainties that they face."
Principal risks and uncertainties
The principal risks and uncertainties that affect the group are described in detail on pages 14 to 17 of the 2010 annual report. In summary, they include:

- Travel risk
- London, New York, Montreal or Hong Kong wide disaster
- Publishing legislation
- Circulation
- Acquisition and disposal risk
- Key staff leaving
- Reliance on key brands
- Technological change and IT infrastructure
- Liquidity risk
- Market price risk
- Interest rate risk
- Foreign currency risk
- Credit risk, and
- Tax
These are considered to be the most relevant risks and uncertainties at this time.
