Meggitt PLC - Announcement of reporting dates

Meggitt PLC ("Meggitt" or "the Group"), a leading international company specialising in high performance components and sub-systems for the aerospace, defence and energy markets, today confirms future reporting dates.

In March, the FCA issued a statement of policy and in May extended financial reporting deadlines for interims, recognising the unprecedented challenges faced by companies and their auditors in reporting financial information as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The measures that both Meggitt and its auditors, PwC, have put in place to tackle the spread of COVID-19 have practical implications for the interim process and it will therefore take longer to prepare the company's financial statements for the half year. As a result, Meggitt will now publish first half results on 8 September 2020.

In addition, we will provide an update on trading in the second quarter on 2 July 2020.
