Shanks Group Plc ('Shanks'), Europe's largest listed independent waste management business, will be announcing its preliminary results for the year ended 31 March 2011 on Thursday, 26 May.

A presentation to analysts is being held on that date at 9.30 a.m. at the offices of RBS Hoare Govett, 250 Bishopsgate, London EC2M 4AA.
