A N N O U C E M E N T

In 2016, S.N.G.N. Romgaz S.A. activities were subject to a control performed by the Romanian Court of Accounts - Sibiu Chamber of Accounts, Decision no. 26/01.06.2016 being issued further to the control.

One of the measures ruled by the Court of Accounts in Decision no.26/2016 provides: "Identification of natural gas volumes delivered to the regulated market in excess to the mandatory deliveries according to data communicated to DOPGN1 for each client, establishment of the prejudice resulting from the difference between regulated market gas price and free market gas price regarding the gas volumes delivered in excess to the regulated market, and its recovery".

Romgaz management, by its specialized compartments, set the value of the alleged prejudice (the Decision of the Court is challenged in court) and ruled measures to recover such prejudice.

Within this context, S.N.G.N. ROMGAZ S.A. initiated proceedings before the competent court against those other natural gas producers in Romania, deemed to have failed to fulfill the obligations pursuant to the ANRE Order no. 161/2014, in order to recover the prejudice assessed by the Court of Accounts.
