The payment of dividends for the financial year 2017 by Societatea Energetica Electrica S.A. 

Societatea Energetica Electrica S.A. (Electrica or the Company) informs its shareholders that, following the resolution of the ordinary general meeting of the shareholders dated 27 April 2018, it will pay the dividends for the financial year 2017 through Depozitarul Central S.A. and the payment agent BRD - Groupe Société Générale S.A., starting with 22 June 2018 (payment date), to Electrica's shareholders registered in the Shareholders' Registry kept by Depozitarul Central S.A. on the registration date of 8 June 2018. Ex-date is 7 June 2018.

The value of the gross dividend is RON 0.7237 per share, and the applicable dividend tax will be deducted prior to payment, within the legal rates, as the case may be.
