Amino Demonstrates New Multi-Codec IPTV Platform for Asian Market; Boosts Operator ARPU and ROI While Reducing Customer Churn Through Enhanced Service Support

Amino (LSE:AMO), leading IPTV platform supplier,announces the first ever demonstration in Asia of the AmiNET125 atIPTV World Forum Asia 2006. Roy Kirsopp, VP and General Manager ofAmino will also be talking about IPTV technology during his 'Creatingthe connected home' presentation at 2pm on 28th September.£ The AmiNET125 is a new fully featured multi-codec devicesupporting standard definition (SD) video streams. It offers operatorsgreatly increased return on investment (ROI) and average revenue peruser (ARPU) through the provision of support for future services and alow-cost, powerful hardware design.£ The AmiNET125 has been built on a new hardware platform, whichdraws on the popular AmiNET110 MPEG-2 and award-winning AmiNET124MPEG-4 devices to offer multiple software configurations and supportfor both traditional and advanced codecs without the need forexpensive equipment upgrades. The platform features a programmable DSPto support low bit rate codecs and remote software upgrades withoutthe need for hardware truck rolls.
