Amino appoints Martin Wilks as Director of Engineering

Amino Technologies plc ("Amino"; LSE AIM: AMO), the Cambridge-based leader in digital entertainment solutions for in-home multimedia distribution, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Martin Wilks as Director of Engineering.

With over ten years' experience in the set-top box market, Martin joins the Company's executive team with responsibility for both software and hardware development of Amino's Aminet and Live range of devices. Previously, Martin was Chief Technology Officer at Harvard International plc where he oversaw the development of a range of digital products for the home including set-top boxes and digital radios. Prior to this, he held senior research and development roles at TechniSat Digital Gmbh which produces digital receivers for the reception of digital satellite, cable and terrestrial (DVBS/-C/-T) television.

Commenting on the appointment, Donald McGarva, Chief Executive Officer of Amino, said: "Martin has strong international experience in the development of devices for a number of markets and brings very solid technical and commercial expertise to the team. We believe he will make a major contribution to ensuring we build on our global reputation for quality products and solutions."
