AMEC plc - potential acquisition
AMEC, the international engineering and project management company, announces today that it is in discussion with Serco Group plc about the acquisition of Serco's nuclear Technical Consulting Services (TCS) business. TCS provides consulting and project solutions primarily to the UK civil and defence nuclear markets and has annual revenues of approximately £70 million.
There is no certainty that a transaction will proceed. A further announcement will be made in due course.
