Re: Amalgamation of Centennial Steel Company Limited with the

Company

We are pleased to inform you that, pursuant to the Order dated 16th

September 2011 of High Court of Judicature at Bombay, Centennial Steel

Company Limited ( CSCL) , a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Steel Limited,

is amalgamated with the Company with effect from today being the Effective

Date as per the Scheme of Amalgamation.

The petition filed by CSCL in the Hon'ble High Court at Bombay, has been

approved and the Scheme of Amalgamation has been sanctioned with effect

from the Appointed Date i.e. 1st April 2011.
