Petroceltic International PLC30 August 2006 Petroceltic International Plc ("Petroceltic") Algeria Drilling Update Petroceltic is pleased to announce that its first operated well in Algeria, ISAS1, has been successfully drilled to its target depth of 2,350 meters throughmultiple targets in the Carboniferous, Devonian F2 and Ordovician zones.Wireline logs and drilling data have identified hydrocarbon bearing intervals inthe Carboniferous and Devonian F2 zones which will now be flow tested. Testingoperations, which will commence in the next day or two, are anticipated to takeapproximately 2 weeks.
