SINOSOFT ENTERS AGREEMENT WITH FUJITSU
Sinosoft, the China-based developer and provider of software and IT solutions to Chinese regional and national government agencies and export enterprises, announces an agreement with Fujitsu Limited to use Fujitsu's PalmSecure (PS) palm vein biometric authentication system to improve secure access to Sinosoft's IT systems.
The PS system requires users to pass their hand above a scanner which reads the unique pattern of complex veins in their palm and if a match is recognised, allows the individual access to the appropriate IT software. The PS system stops its users from having to remember numerous different passwords, all of which are susceptible to being leaked or hacked.
Sinosoft has already deployed the PS system to access the control systems for administrative applications for the City of Nanjing Construction Committee, the Yuhuatai Ward government in Nanjing and the Jiangsu branch of China Eastern airlines.
Ms Xin, Chief Executive of Sinosoft, commented: "Sinosoft provides IT services to numerous public-sector institutions, governmental organisations and private sector companies. It is therefore of a paramount importance that we offer our clients the latest technology to ensure the safety of any sensitive information within their computer systems. We look forward to working together with Fujitsu Group to develop further solutions using biometric palm vein authentication technology to improve security and convenience for our customers."
