DQ Entertainment plc ("DQE") announces exclusive content deal for three popular shows with Walt Disney Television International - WDTVI (India)
Twisted Whiskers, a CGI animated TV series, co-produced by DQE, American Greetings and Taffy Entertainment, USA
Ratman, an animated TV series in traditional 2D animation, co-produced by DQE and Stranemani, Italy
Sandra an animated TV series, co-produced by DQE and Imira Entertainment, Spain
DQE, the AIM listed Animation, Gaming and Entertainment Company today announces an exclusive licensing agreement with Walt Disney Television International (WDTVI) (India) for three of its renowned animated series - Twisted Whiskers, Ratman and Sandra. The shows will be aired on Disney multiplex of channels in the coming months.
Commenting, Tapaas Chakravarti Chairman & CEO of DQE Group said, "We are extremely happy that the Disney multiplex of channels has acquired 3 of our properties for broadcast. This is a landmark deal for us and heralds a new beginning for the licensing of our properties in this region."
WDTVI continues to build the Disney multiplex of channels as a preferred destination for children and family content with new shows like this. These new shows will add on to this comprehensive entertainment platform built with world-class, international and local content. The new shows will be aired for Disney audience in India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
