Alliance Boots plc20 April 2007 Alliance Boots plc Entry into agency agreement with AstraZeneca Alliance Boots plc announces that its UK wholesale business, UniChem, hasentered into an agreement with AstraZeneca to act as its agency partner todeliver its prescription medicines directly to pharmacies, dispensing doctorsand hospitals across the UK. Under AstraZeneca's new medicine supplyarrangements, UniChem will act as one of two agency partners. These new supplyarrangements are expected to be implemented during the third quarter of 2007.
