Agreement to acquire Art Impressions

Entertainment One Ltd., the international entertainment group, is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the brand and licensing agency, Art Impressions, marking a major step for eOne in the development of its brand licensing operation.

Art Impressions specialises in brand management and brand creation across a range of demographics, from children to adults. Launched in 1992 in California, Art Impressions created and manages the popular teen lifestyle brands So So Happy and Skelanimals. So So Happy has secured 60 licensees and rolled out successful marketing and merchandising campaigns, and Skeleanimals has experienced similar success, known for its innovative marketing and social media campaigns.

The agreement to acquire Art Impressions builds upon the Company's licensing presence in the US, with eOne having launched Peppa Pig on NickJr. in 2010, and subsequently securing licensing and merchandising partnerships, including Fisher Price, Scholastic and Evy. Art Impressions will provide additional expertise and a proven track record to eOne Licensing positioning it to handle brands from across all of eOne's film and television businesses and exploit the rights across all media worldwide.
