Applied Graphene Materials announces that it will be presenting at the National Association of Corrosion Engineers "Corrosion 2019" conference
Applied Graphene Materials ("AGM"), the producer of specialty graphene materials today announces that the Company will be speaking and exhibiting at the prestigious National Association of Corrosion Engineers "Corrosion 2019" conference which is being held in Nashville, Tennessee, USA on 24 to 28 March 2019.
Andy Gent, a member of AGM's business development team, will present a paper to the Technical Conference entitled "Characterisation of a Novel Hybrid Anti-corrosive System Comprising Graphene Nano Platelets and Non-Metal-containing Anti-corrosive Pigments".
AGM's participation once again demonstrates the Company's direct approach to customer engagement. By providing in-depth performance data AGM hopes to accelerate the adoption of graphene in coatings technology. Supported by this data, AGM works closely with customers through early technical and commercial engagement in the process of introduction of graphene, rigorous testing cycles and final formulation specification.
Although the development of such technical data is a major investment by AGM, it is critical to the introduction of new technology into a relatively conservative industry which relies on data to define performance, and thereby enables long term customer success.
AGM can be located on stand number 2524 at the National Association of Corrosion Engineers "Corrosion 2019" exhibition which is being held in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, 24 to 28 March 2019.

About Applied Graphene Materials
Applied Graphene Materials works in partnership with its customers using its knowledge and expertise to provide custom graphene dispersions and formats to deliver enhancements and benefits for a wide range of applications. The Group's strategy is to target commercial application in three core markets: coatings, composites and polymers and functional fluids.
The Group has developed proprietary bottom-up processes which are capable of producing high-volume graphene nanoplatelets using a continuous process. The manufacturing processes are based on sustainable, readily available raw materials and therefore do not rely on the supply of graphite, unlike a number of other graphene production techniques. Applied Graphene Materials owns the intellectual property and know-how behind these processes.
Applied Graphene Materials was founded in 2010 with its operations and processes based on technology that Professor Karl Coleman initially developed at Durham University. The Group was admitted to AIM in November 2013.
