Tex Holdings PLC19 June 2007 Tex Holdings plc Annual General Meeting - Tuesday 19th June 2007 Chairman's Update on Trading at AGM Activity levels slowed during April and May but have come back more firmly inJune. Enquiries and quotations presently continue at a buoyant rate and thetrading prospects for the second half appear encouraging. As always we face competition in the markets we serve, but a number of ourcommercial and productivity initiatives are now coming to fruition. Increasingmanagement attention is also necessarily being applied to the supply chain,where material and component shortages have become more of an issue than in thepast. We are facing up to these challenges backed up by a healthy order book and theanticipated early conversion of a number of pipeline business prospects. Mark Harrison is retiring on 19th September 2007 on reaching 60 years of age. Onbehalf of the Board and Shareholders I would like to thank him for his long andvalued service to Tex and wish him well for the years to come. An executivesearch company, Tyzak Associates, has been hired to find a replacement and indue course an announcement will be made. At the same time, Panton Corbett will be standing down as a Non-ExecutiveDirector and as Chairman of the Audit Committee. Matthew Cadbury has agreed tostep into his role.
