AGM Statement

Ultra will be holding its Annual General Meeting ("AGM") in London at 10:00am today.

The Board values the opportunity to meet shareholders in person at its AGM, however, due to social distancing requirements associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, we are unfortunately unable to host shareholders at today's meeting. Shareholders can submit questions for the Board by emailing [email protected] . Any questions submitted and answers will be published on our website www.ultra.group .

Statement from Tony Rice, Chairman:

"Following Ultra's Market Update on 14 April 2020, we are pleased to report that Ultra continues to operate effectively, and all our facilities remain open. Consistent with that previous announcement, trading remains broadly in line with expectations and despite the challenging environment, we continue to expect 2020 to be a year of good progress for Ultra.

As announced in our 2019 Annual Report, Sir Robert Walmsley will be stepping down from his role as Non-Executive Director and Senior Independent Director at today's AGM. Sir Robert has been a vital part of the Ultra board since his appointment and we would like to thank him for his enormous contribution and his extended tenure, which has provided a valuable bridge during a period of significant change. We wish him all the best for his future endeavours."

Victoria Hull will take over as Senior Independent Director after today's AGM. A search is underway for a new Non-Executive Director to replace Sir Robert.

Ultra will report its interim results for the six months ending 30 June 2020 on 30 July 2020.
