New Regional Design Centre in Sweden

& continued development of operating model

Stadium Group plc (AIM: SDM), a leading supplier of wireless solutions, power supplies and electronic assemblies, will hold its Annual General Meeting today at 11.00am at the offices of N+1 Singer Advisory LLP, 1 Bartholomew Lane, London EC2N 2AX. At the meeting, Stadium's Chairman, Nick Brayshaw, will provide shareholders with the following update:

Trading in the first three months of the year has been in line with management expectations. Following a similar pattern as the previous year, we expect further revenue growth in the second half of the year and this is evident in our strong order book.

One of our strategic objectives, as outlined in the recently announced 2015 financial results, is to continue to develop the operating model to deliver the Group's customer focused, design-led technology proposition supported by strategically located design centres, manufacturing centres of excellence and regional fulfilment centres. Each of these developments will support further organic growth across the Group.

New Regional Design Centre

Following on from the three regional design centres that opened in 2015 in Shanghai, Southampton and Norwich, we are pleased to announce the opening of another design centre today in Sweden to support future growth. This fourth regional design centre, located in Stockholm at the Kista Science City, one of the world's leading high-tech clusters and often described as Europe's "Wireless Valley", will focus on primarily serving our fast growing wireless business and act as the hub for the Group Technology board. A team of high calibre wireless electronics design engineers and technical sales personnel has been recruited with experience of, and a proven track record in, the areas of Mobile Connectivity, Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and 'Internet of Things' (IoT).

Manufacturing Centres of Excellence

Following the successful upgrade and relocation in 2015 to a new facility in South China, established as the Group's manufacturing centre of excellence in the Asia region, we are reviewing the potential to consolidate our European manufacturing footprint from four separate locations into two main manufacturing centres of excellence in the UK at Hartlepool and Southampton. We remain committed to ensuring that we have world class facilities through investment in hi-tech equipment and experienced electronics industry leadership. 

Fulfilment Centres

We are also in the process of enhancing our regional fulfilment centre model with the upgrade of the facility in Reading to become the distribution centre for Europe and also completing the successful move to a new distribution and logistics centre in Asia located in Kowloon, Hong Kong. This will help further ensure that we can meet customer delivery and supply chain requirements in different geographies.

Head Office

Reflecting the changing shape of the business, it is our intention to move the registered head office from Hartlepool to Reading. This change will take place by mid-2016 once all of the administrative procedures associated with such a change have been addressed. This in no way impacts our continued commitment to Hartlepool as one of our key manufacturing centres of excellence.

Stontronics

We are delighted to report that the integration of the acquisition of Stontronics is progressing well, with the business contributing positively to the overall performance of the Group. As we expected the acquisition is opening up new distribution channels across our business, as well as providing a broad range of complementary power products, further enhancing the Stadium offer to its clients.

Outlook

We remain optimistic about the prospects for the Company in 2016 and beyond, particularly with the continued growth in the pipeline of our wireless solutions, power supplies and electronic assemblies businesses.
