Johnson Service Group PLC11 May 2005 11 May 2005 JOHNSON SERVICE GROUP PLC AGM STATEMENT At the Annual General Meeting which will commence at 2.15pm today, the Chairman,Simon Sherrard, will make the following statement:- "Overall the Group is trading satisfactorily with the integration of our recentacquisitions proceeding to plan. The trends in our textile rental business continue to be encouraging and weremain confident that the actions we have taken will continue to produceimprovements in this business. The corporatewear division, which was expanded just after the end of last yearwith the acquisition of Dewhirst Corporate Clothing Limited (DCC), is performingstrongly and is winning significant new business. Our drycleaning division, in line with many other high street retailers, hasexperienced variable trading conditions with like for like sales slightly downoverall. We have reduced our costs to an appropriate level and are prepared totake further action as necessary. Our Facilities Management business, Johnson Workplace Management Limited,continues to perform strongly. We remain confident in the prospects for the Group and continue to believe thatwe will achieve a satisfactory outcome for the year.'
