Croda International PLC21 April 2005 Croda International Plc AGM Trading Statement - 21 April 2005 Commenting at today's AGM, Antony Beevor, Chairman of Croda International Plc,said: "In the 2004 annual report I said that the strong trading in the second half of2004 had continued into the New Year. Therefore, I am pleased to report thatour unaudited management accounts for the first quarter of 2005 show sales fromcontinuing operations up by just under 9% and profits before tax up by 20% onthe same quarter last year. We have benefited from the recovery in our plastics additives business whichbegan in the second half of last year and continued strong global demand for ourproducts, together with a lower interest charge." The Company will be publishing its 2004 results under IFRS on its website inJune 2005, and will announce its interim results on 27 July 2005.
