Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC23 February 2007 Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC AGM STATEMENT 23 February 2007 At the AGM today, Jamie Matheson, Executive Chairman said: "I am pleased to report that trading in the first four months of the year hasbeen satisfactory. Against this background your Board has decided to declare afirst interim dividend of 2.875p, 15% up from that paid last year. This dividendwill be payable on 10th April 2007 to shareholders on the register on 16th March2007. Following the introduction of the International Financial Reporting Standards,your Board has decided since there is no advantage in having two interimdividends that next year we will adopt the more usual practice of declaringinterim and final dividends. Therefore, we propose to declare a second interim dividend in September 2007,payable as before, in October 2007. We propose then to declare a finaldividend in late November 2007 with our preliminary announcement, payable inApril 2008."
