22nd May 2007 07:00

TG21 Plc22 May 2007 22 May 2006 TG21 plc (" the Company" or "the Group") AGM statement Trading Update and business developments At this morning's AGM, the Company intend to make the following statement. Overall Group profitability is in line with market expectation for the year todate. The Group's public transport CCTV business has had an encouraging start to theyear. Our 75% owned subsidiary, 21st Century Crime Prevention Services Limited("21st Century") received an advance order for 854 CCTV systems from its maincustomer, the installation of which will substantially underpin its results forthe year. 21st Century has also won new business from Southern Vectis, Wilts &Dorset Bus Company, London Central and London General, which are all part of TheGo-Ahead Group plc. We are looking forward to building on this new relationshipin the current year. The first phase of trials for our new public transport vehicle products havebeen completed successfully and we are moving to the second phase, involvingfurther installations. These include 21st Century's Eco-Manager product, adevice developed to monitor and manage poor driving habits, and initial resultshave indicated that the product could lead to fuel savings of up to 50%. Ourpassenger counting system has also achieved impressive results from its initialtrials and, as a consequence, we will push ahead with the launch of both ofthese new products in the near future. We are also currently undertaking the installations for a 500 vehicle trial ofon-board media systems in conjunction with several national bus operators and wehope to be able to report on the progress of this initiative later in the year. We continue to manage our investment in Cyberlyne Communications Limited and weare working with the shareholders and management of this company to assist inthe recovery of the business. While we have seen a continued decline in the distribution of in-carentertainment and security products, the prospects for our Services installationbusiness will be enhanced if the results of Pay As You Go insurance trials, expected by the end of the year, are successful.
