Tribal Group PLC28 July 2006 Tribal Group plc 2006 AGM statement and announcement of preferred bidder statuson NHS diagnostic contract At the Annual General Meeting of Tribal Group plc (the "Group") to be held at10.30 am today, Tribal will provide the following update: "The Group is pleased to announce that its healthcare delivery business, MercuryHealth, has been appointed as preferred bidder to deliver a range of diagnosticservices to NHS patients in the West Midlands. Under the contract, MercuryHealth will be undertaking up to 190,000 diagnostic procedures annually for afive year period. The contract is one of seven regional diagnostic contracts to be awarded as part of the Phase 2 Independent Sector Treatment Centreprogramme. Financial close is expected to be reached by the end of the year and service delivery is due to commence during the first half of 2007 As anticipated in our preliminary statement on 20 June 2006, the weighting oftrading towards the second half of the year will be even more pronounced thisyear with first half profits and earnings expected to be below last year.
