Johnson Service Group PLC11 May 2006 11 May 2006 Johnson Service Group PLC AGM Statement 2006 At the Annual General Meeting, which is due to commence at 3pm today, theChairman, Simon Sherrard, will make the following statement: "The acquisitions made during last year are being successfully integrated and weare continuing with our strategy of refocusing the Group towardsbusiness-to-business services markets, that offer higher growth and longer-termcontractual revenue streams. Our Corporatewear division, the UK's market leader, is performing strongly andis continuing to win new business in a growing market. Our white collarFacilities Management division, that now covers both the commercial and retailsectors, is also demonstrating strong organic growth. Our textile rental business continues to trade solidly and we are beginning tobenefit from one of our main competitors having withdrawn from the market,although the impact of this is expected to be more evident in the second half. As stated in our results announcement in March, consumer demand remains weak andis leading to unpredictable revenues in Drycleaning. With respect to theapproach for our Drycleaning business, discussions are continuing with aninterested party that may, or may not, lead to an offer being received.
