Davis Service Group PLC25 April 2006 THE DAVIS SERVICE GROUP PLC CHAIRMAN'S AGM STATEMENT The following statement will be read out at today's AGM by Christopher Kemball, Chairman. "The trends that we identified earlier this year have continued with the UK remaining challenging and further progress being achieved in Continental Europe. Our first quarter results show good revenue growth as a result of the bolt-onacquisitions we have made and organic growth in both the UK and the Continent.Profits have also grown in the first quarter, but not at the same level asrevenue growth, due to the continuing cost pressures in the UK and the costs ofintegrating the bolt-on acquisitions. Overall, we expect to deliver a satisfactory outcome for 2006."
