AGM Statement

 

Work Group plc (LSE - AIM: "WORK") the AIM quoted talent management company, announces that at its Annual General Meeting ('AGM') held earlier today, all the proposed resolutions were duly passed. Simon Howard, Chairman of the Group, commented:

 

"The Group has made progress in 2012, with encouraging business wins and the appointment of Hayley Brooksbank as Managing Director of the Work Communications division in the UK. Hayley previously spent five years at Hay Group where she worked as European marketing director and global head of brand and communications. 

 

"It is clear, however, that overall economic conditions are making it difficult to forecast the second half of the year with very much certainty, with little in the way of discernible patterns. Despite a slow start at the beginning of the year we are encouraged by our recent trading performance."

 

The Group will announce its half year results for the six months ended 30 June 2012 on 18 September 2012.
