Annual General Meeting Statement

Waterman Group plc, the international engineering and environmental consultant, will be holding its Annual General Meeting today. Its Chairman, Roger Fidgen, will make the following statement, in addition to the recent Interim Management Statement dated 19th November 2012:

"Whilst the majority of the markets in which Waterman Group operate have continued to be very competitive, the Group has secured several new commissions recently. It is with great pleasure that I can announce the following new projects spread across the Group's operations:

·; Waterman Structures has been appointed by Helical Bar and The Baupost Group of Boston to progress the design of the 3.2 acre mixed use development at Barts Square, London.

·; In the public sector, Waterman has been appointed by Westminster City Council to provide engineering support on the flagship redevelopment of the existing housing estate at Tollgate Gardens.

·; The Waterman environmental team was commissioned by Stanhope in October to prepare the Environmental Impact Assessment for the redevelopment of the BBC Broadcasting Centre in Wood Lane, London.

·; In November, Waterman was appointed as structural, civil and building services engineers for the improvement works to the west pier and international arrivals hall at London City Airport.

·; Waterman has been commissioned by RES to provide civil engineering design services for the 9.2MW Woolley Hill Wind Farm near Huntingdon which, when complete, will be able to generate enough clean, green electricity each year to meet the average needs of more than 7,000 homes.

·; In Australia, Waterman has been appointed as lead consultant for the removal of the 20 year old Sydney monorail. This will have a positive impact on the Sydney skyline and future major developments in Darling Harbour.

" To conclude, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our staff and shareholders for their contribution and support during the last financial year. We look forward to giving an update on progress at our half year results in February 2013."
