AGM Statement

BCA, the UK and Europe's market leading digital and physical used vehicle marketplace and automotive services business, will hold its Annual General Meeting at 9.30am today at the offices of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP, Adelaide House, London Bridge, London EC4R 9HA.

At the meeting Avril Palmer-Baunack, Executive Chairman of BCA, will make the following statement regarding forthcoming dividend payments and an update regarding current trading of the Company for the period 2 April 2018 to 5 September 2018.

Dividends

Shareholders are being asked today to approve a final dividend of 5.95 pence per share, amounting to £47.5 million, which if approved, will be paid on 28 September 2018 to those shareholders who were on the register at the close of business on 14 September 2018. This dividend, if approved, will result in total Ordinary Dividends in respect of the year ended 1 April 2018 amounting to 8.55 pence per share totalling £67.8 million in aggregate and will result in the payment of £167.3 million representing 21.3 pence per share since the Company's listing in November 2014.

Current Trading

The Board is pleased to report that the Company continues to trade and grow in line with its strategic, operational and financial expectations. The year has started strongly, and the Board remains confident in the Group's prospects for the financial year and its continued development plans for the future.
