Workspace Group PLC31 July 2007 WORKSPACE CHAIRMAN UPBEAT AT AGM Speaking at the Company's Annual General Meeting being held today, Tony Hales,the Chairman of Workspace Group PLC ("Workspace") the leading provider offlexible business accommodation to small and medium sized enterprises in Londonand the South East, will make the following statement. " I am pleased to update shareholders today on the progress we have made sincethe start of the year. This will be our first full year since converting to REITstatus. The Board remains confident that Workspace continues to provide itsshareholders with an attractive long-term opportunity for both capital andincome growth. " We are encouraged that enquiries and lettings in the first quarter havecontinued at the high levels experienced at the end of the last financial year.We are seeing good increases in both market rents and our rent roll which willbe reflected in our portfolio valuation. " This is the last AGM that our current Finance Director Mark Taylor will beattending. As shareholders know, Mark is stepping down from the Board. I wouldlike to take this opportunity to thank him for all his contributions during histime with Workspace and wish him well for the future.
