Victrex PLC05 February 2008 Tuesday 5 February 2008 Victrex plc AGM and Interim Management Statement At the Annual General Meeting of Victrex plc to be held today, Chairman Peter Warry will make the following statement which comprises Victrex's first Interim Management Statement covering the period from 1 October 2007 to date: "Trading since our December preliminary announcement has continued in line withexpectations. We saw an encouraging start to the calendar year with Januarysales volume growing above the levels achieved in October and November. Thisfollowed an expected softening in December reflecting normal seasonal tradingpatterns. Accordingly, while it is too early to predict the outcome for the yearas a whole, we remain confident in the underlying growth potential for thebusiness. There have been no significant changes in the financial position of the Companysince 30 September 2007."
