TT electronics PLC18 May 2005 AGM STATEMENT All resolutions before the Annual General Meeting of TT electronics plc wereduly passed. Speaking at the meeting, John Newman, Executive Chairman of TT electronics,commented on current trading: "TT electronics has experienced a less buoyant start to this year compared with2004 with sales slightly lower, due to the slowdown in the automotive markets. "Since the announcement of the annual results, we have successfully sold our AEICables' Gravesend site for considerably more than its book value. Theacquisition in March this year of Dage Limited will also benefit the future ofTT electronics. With its Chinese manufacturing facility, it will provide theplatform for our expansion in China."
