AGM Statement

Universe Group plc (UNG.L), a leading developer and supplier of payment and on-line loyalty systems, will be holding its Annual General Meeting later today and Chairman, Robert Goddard, will make the following statement:

"Trading in the first half of 2015 is expected to be in line with the comparable period last year. We have recently secured a number of new orders and order intake for this year is in line with expectations. The recent orders are scheduled for delivery in the second half of this year and we therefore expect the trading performance for the full year to be weighted towards the second half in line with our experience last year.
