Retirement of Director and AGM Results

Abbey plc wishes to announce that Mr J. Roger Humber retired as a Director of the Company following the Annual General Meeting of the Company held on Friday 3 October 2014. Mr Humber has served nearly fifteen years as a Director.

The Board wish to thank Mr Humber for his many years of service to the Group and wish him well in his retirement.

Abbey also announces that all resolutions proposed to shareholders at the Company's annual general meeting were duly passed.
