ADMISSION TO TRADING AND FIRST DAY OF DEALINGS

Ecofin U.S. Renewables Infrastructure Trust PLC ("RNEW" or the "Company"), a newly established investment company focused on mixed U.S. renewable energy assets, is pleased to announce its admission to the premium listing segment of the Official List of the FCA and to trading on the main market of the London Stock Exchange at 8.00 a.m. today ("Admission"). Dealings in the Ordinary Shares (ISIN: GB00BLPK4430) will be available in both US Dollars (ticker "RNEW") and Sterling (ticker "RNEP").

The total number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights in the Company with effect from Admission is 125,000,001. This total voting rights figure can be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interest in the Company under the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules of the Financial Conduct Authority.

On 22 October 2020, the Company issued 50,000 initial redeemable preference shares of £1.00 each (the "Initial Redeemable Preference Shares") to its investment manager, Ecofin Advisors, LLC ("Ecofin"). Conditionally upon Admission occurring, all of Ecofin's Initial Redeemable Preference Shares (being all such shares as are in issue) will be redeemed at par value in accordance with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 and the Company's articles of association.

Stifel Nicolaus Europe Limited has been appointed as the Company's sole Corporate Broker. The Company intends to publish its first Net Asset Value per Ordinary Share as at 31 March 2021.
