ADMISSION TO LISTING ON THE STANDARD SEGMENT OF THE OFFICIAL LIST AND TO TRADING ON THE MAIN MARKET OF THE LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE

Verizon Communications Inc. ("Verizon") is pleased to announce, following the completion of its acquisition of Vodafone Group Plc's indirect 45% interest in Verizon Wireless on 21 February 2014, that 1,274,764,121 shares of Verizon common stock, par value $0.10 per share, have today been admitted to listing on the standard segment of the Official List and to trading on the Main Market for listed securities of the London Stock Exchange.
