Base Resources Limited (ASX & AIM: BSE) ("Base Resources") advises that an application has been made to the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange ("AIM") for admission of the 168,329,185 ordinary shares issued under Base Resources’ renounceable pro rata entitlement offer announced on 29 February 2016 ("Entitlement Offer Shares"). The Entitlement Offer Shares are expected to be admitted to trading on AIM from Tuesday, 12 April 2016.

The total number of Base Resources ordinary shares on issue is 732,231,956.
