ADMISSION OF ISSUED COMMON SHARES
HOUSTON - October 6, 2022 - VAALCO Energy, Inc. (NYSE: "EGY"; LSE: "EGY") ("VAALCO" or the "Company") notes that it has made an application for the admission of 3,405,169 common shares of $0.10 par value per common share (the "Admission"), resulting from the historic exercise of options. It is expected that Admission will become effective at 8.00 a.m. BST on 10 October 2022.
The Company has total issued share capital of 70,884,065 common shares, of which 11,057,521 common shares are held in treasury and 758,440 common shares are unvested common shares, which are subject to forfeiture. Therefore the total voting rights in the Company are 59,826,544.
