Appointment of Administrators to the LifeStyle Division
Further to the announcement of 10 February 2009, JJB Sports plc (the "Company") announces the appointment of administrators to its two subsidiaries, Original Shoe Company Limited ("OSC") and Qubefootwear Limited ("Qube"), comprising its LifeStyle division. The boards of directors of OSC and Qube respectively have appointed Messrs. Fleming, Costley-Wood and Nimmo of KPMG LLP as joint administrators of OSC and Qube, with immediate effect.
The placing into administration of OSC and Qube is provided for in the terms of the Company's extended standstill arrangement with its lenders and does not affect any of the Company's other trading businesses.
